About The Friends of the Jennie Wade:

We are a non-profit organization. We operate on the memberships and donations of people interested in keeping history alive and meaningful. The Jennie Wade Museum is located in the Chilo Lock #34 Park on Route 52 the Ohio Scenic River Byway.

The Fall Back Into Time fundraising event came about to answer a need. Looking for some new events and projects for funding is a priority of the Friends of the Jennie Wade. We came up with this idea hoping that with your help we will bring about some much needed funds to the participating non-profits. This new web site, Fall Back Into Time will seek out votes for your favorite historical character’s re-enactor. Every vote generated by each character will go to that historical society at the end of the contest. Funds generated by votes go into savings account through the Friends of Jennie Wade a 501 ( c) 3 organization . The regional contest will run from August through October 2009 when the winner will be announced and the funds generated presented to each group’s entry. Although there may be one winner who gets the “most votes” all the entries win the funds they collect through their solicitation of votes.
