
The Bracken County Historical Society proudly presents their contestant for the Fall Back into Time contest, General George C. Marshall, in honor of the World War II veterans of this region. A goal of the BCHS this year is to work to preserve the history of many of the WWIi veterans of the county. A vote for General Marshall will help them to achieve this goal.
The parents and grandparents of General Marshall were early residents of Augusta Kentucky. The Marshall house and Bradford house are famous Augusta landmarks.
